Moving time

My first month in South Korea it’s been incredible, full of new people to meet, new places to visit, new food to try and new memories I will never forget.

It was in this rhythm that as my second week here finished, part of the Tabernacle of David team received a mission to move from Gwangju to Geoje. Actually it’s been a year since they moved to Geoje but during this last year, they kept both places as their worship bases in Korea.

When the Tabernacle of David started in South Korea, in 2010, their worship center was situated in Gwangju, in a house built by American Presbyterian missionaries. This journey of 12 years ended this month when we moved the remained things from Gwangju to the new worship base in Geoje, a southern island in South Korea.

This move was very significant and important to mark as the beginning of a new season that will be built in a new city, but with the same desire to worship the Lord our God with all of our hearts, like David’s prayer in Psalm 86:12:

I praise You, O Lord my God with my whole heart, and glorify Your Name forever.

– Psalm 86:12 tlv
